15th May

We had a very busy but encouraging day today. The hall was almost full, we made meals for 72! Sergei spoke after the Breaking of Bread, lots of children attended Sunday School and Vadim spoke in the Gospel. Many thanks to all who helped today in any way. We really appreciate your help.
Please pray for the country and for the ongoing problem of fuel shortage. Most petrol stations have no fuel. There are mile long queues for those few that have fuel and each car is restricted to 20 litres! One of our friends was in the queue for 3 hours yesterday!
We look forward to another good week and pray for a peaceful one. We have already car/van loads of aid to get ready for various needy families and places.
Please keep praying.

Just uploading some photos from yesterday and today. Great to have Ira and Pasha with us today again. Very difficult day for Pasha as his father’s funeral took place away in the East and he couldn’t be there.
Yesterday we unloaded the lorry load of aid into the main store. Many thanks to all who helped in this heavy work and for those who sent out the aid.
We had a good hymn singing and Prayer meeting after the lorry was unloaded. Marianna, Ira & Lera made us all a delicious chicken curry and rice.
Today many helped to sort some boxes of clothes. Great to have such willing helpers. The kitchen was extremely busy and many were queuing for tables.
Please keep praying.

12th May

Please pray for Ira and Pasha tonight *. They are from 2 different towns in the East. Our hearts are breaking for them. We met them both only a few weeks ago but we have come to know them so well, we all work together every day and we love them.
Ira’s cousin, Zenia, is seriously ill in hospital after being caught in bombing in the East. He has multiple injuries. Please pray for Zenia, for Ira and the whole family.
Pasha’s dad passed away today, only 50 years old. He had cancer. Pasha can’t get over for the funeral as his home town is surrounded and is being frequently bombed. Heart breaks for this lovely young man, Pasha. Please pray for him tonight and over the next days and weeks and for his family.
Today was extremely busy with unloading aid lorry and feeding so many people. Will post photos tomorrow.
War sirens sounding tonight again.
Please keep praying.
