So, what's
all this about?
Well, it's about the fact
that I originally had very successful surgery to
destroy a significant prostate cancer tumour,
without destroying or removing the prostate
itself. However, it was not successful in the
long run.
Had I not been having
earlier PSA blood tests, I would not
have known that I even had
prostate cancer.
Also, I'm glad I did not
have the more popular "TRUS" biopsy
because it's quite possible that it
would not
have located my prostate cacer.
So: my journey starts with
precision diagnostics and interventional
oncology, and eventially robot assisted
laparoscopic prostatectomy.
